Either barber will give you a clean low fade, so the real choice depends on what sits above and below it. Mark Yousif leans toward skin fades and fade-into-beard blends, which makes him the natural pick if you want the bottom on bare skin and a beard that flows out of the sideburn without a gap.

What happens in the chair during a low fade appointment

1. Consultation: we look at where each ear sits, whether the hairline dips on one side and how you wear the top on a normal morning.
2. Guideline: a trimmer sets the lowest line a little above the ear and carries it around the back.
3. Blend: guards and the clipper lever take the band up into the longer sides with no visible step.
4. Top: scissors or clipper-over-comb for the length you asked for, checked against your part.
5. Detail and lineup: the edges, ears and neckline get a razor-clean finish.
6. Finish: a hot towel, a hair wash and a head massage are included, then we style it the way you will wear it tomorrow.

How often to come back for a low fade

Most low fade clients rebook every three to four weeks, which is longer than any other fade we cut. The short band sits so low that a week of growth barely changes the silhouette; what gives it away is the neckline turning fuzzy and hair creeping over the ear rim.

If you like the bottom on skin, book at three weeks. On a No. 1 or half-guard finish, four weeks is realistic. The easiest habit is to book the next visit on Booksy before you leave the parking lot, while you still remember how good the fresh line looked.
