Temple Fade in Mississauga: A Temp Fade and Lineup at Heartland

Short answer: Yes, Markcutit cuts temple fades, also called temp or Brooklyn fades, in Heartland Town Centre, Mississauga. Book Haircut Only on Booksy or call or text (647) 221-9795; choose Mark Yousif if the sharp front lineup matters most to you. Tell us your all-over guard length when you book, because the temple blend is set to match it.

A temp fade appointment is mostly about the front

A temple fade appointment spends most of its detail work on a small area: the two front corners, the sideburns and the line across the forehead. The rest of the head is usually one even guard, cut first, so the temple blend has a consistent length to fade into.

That means the lineup carries the whole look. A clean forehead line and crisp corners make a temp fade; a soft or crooked one makes it look like an overdue buzz. For what the style is and where the name comes from, read our temple fade guide.

Mark for the lineup, Marcel for the detail

Mark Yousif leans toward razor lineups and skin fades, which are the two halves of a temp fade, so he is the usual choice when the front edge is what you care about. See his recent work on Mark's barber page.

Marcel Shabo leans toward detailing and texture. If your temp fade sits under waves or a short sponge-twisted top, his eye for texture on top is useful. Both barbers cut temple fades; neither will push your hairline back unless you ask.

Protecting your natural hairline

The one thing to discuss at every temp fade visit is where the front line sits. Taking a millimetre too much each time adds up, and after a year of weekly lineups a hairline can look noticeably higher than it naturally grew.

We follow your own hairline and only straighten what is already there. If you want the corners sharper, say so, and we will tell you honestly whether that means moving the line. Our answer on whether a barber should push back your hairline explains why we are careful.

How to book it and what to write in the notes

Choose Haircut Only on Booksy, pick your barber and add a short note so the guard and the front are settled before you sit down.

  • Your all-over length, for example "No. 2 all over" or "sponge length on top".
  • Temple finish: skin at the corners or a soft 1 guard.
  • Front line: "natural" or "slightly sharper".
  • Beard or moustache: if yes, book Haircut + Beard so the sideburn and cheek line match the temples.

A one-to-two-week rhythm, built around your week

Because the lineup is the first thing to soften, temp fade regulars come back more often than most: weekly for a very sharp front, every two weeks for most people. The small blend itself survives longer, but the edge does not.

Evening slots suit that rhythm. We cut until 9 PM seven days a week, so a Thursday night cut before the weekend or a Sunday evening cut before work is easy to fit in. Keep your durag or wave cap on between visits if you wear waves; our 360 waves page covers that side of the routine.

Our studio shot Buzz Cut, Taper & Beard Lineup shows a short even length with a cleaned-up front and a lined beard, which is close to what many temp fade clients ask for. Bring it or any photo of your own to the consultation.

Temple fade in Mississauga: common questions

Can I just book a lineup between temple fade cuts?

The Markcutit menu lists Haircut Only for hair; Beard Only + Lineup is for beards. Text (647) 221-9795 if you want to ask what fits between full cuts.

Does the temple fade work if I am growing my hair out?

Yes. Because it only touches the corners and sideburns, it keeps the front neat while the rest of your hair keeps growing.

What guard should I choose all over with a temp fade?

Most people pick a No. 1 to No. 3 all over; shorter lengths make the temple blend more subtle, longer ones make it stand out more.
