Bald Fade in Mississauga: Foil-Finished Fades by Mark and Marcel
Short answer: Yes, Markcutit cuts bald fades at Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga, and founder Mark Yousif leans toward skin fades. Book Haircut Only on Booksy or call or text (647) 221-9795. A bald fade shows stubble within days, so plan a cut every one to two weeks; booking a recurring evening or Sunday slot is the easiest way to keep it.

Why bald fade clients usually book Mark
Mark Yousif, who founded Markcutit, leans toward skin fades, razor lineups and fade-into-beard blends. A bald fade is all three at once when you wear a beard: bare skin at the bottom, a clean outline and a blend that climbs from nothing into the sideburn.
Marcel Shabo cuts bald fades too, and his detailing shows around the ears and nape. Mark's Bald Fade, Front View in our portfolio is a clear picture of the result from the front, and more of his work is on Mark's barber page.
What a bald fade appointment looks like
Your appointment starts with a check of the scalp you are about to expose: bumps, old marks, and any tenderness from a previous cut. Then we cut the fade with clippers, take the bottom section to bare skin with a foil shaver, and blend the transition until you cannot see where the skin ends.
The top is shaped, the edges are lined with a razor, and the hot towel that follows is especially welcome on freshly shaved skin. A wash and a head massage are included too. The finishing technique and how it differs from a clipper-only zero are explained in our bald fade guide.
Weekly or every two weeks? Choosing your rhythm
Bald fade regulars fall into two camps, and both are fine. The right one depends on how sharp you need it and how dark your hair is.
| Every week | Every two weeks | |
|---|---|---|
| Who books it | Dark, dense hair; sharp look every day | Most clients |
| What you see | Near-bare skin at all times | Clean first week, stubble in the second |
| Booking tip | Same slot weekly in Booksy | Alternate weekends and weeknights |
| If you miss one | Still passes as a skin fade | Reads as a low shadow fade |
On the drive home: looking after bare skin
Freshly foiled skin is more exposed than it has been in weeks, so treat it gently for the first day. Skip hot showers aimed at the sides, avoid scratching, and use a plain fragrance-free moisturiser if it feels tight.
Sun is the bigger issue in an Ontario summer: a cap or sunscreen on the sides makes sense if you are heading outdoors straight from Heartland. Small red bumps usually settle in a day or two; if they keep coming back or get painful, see a doctor or dermatologist. Our haircut aftercare guide has the full routine.
Making a bald fade fit your week
A cut every seven to fourteen days only works if it is easy to get to. The studio sits inside Heartland Town Centre, a few minutes off the 401 at Mavis Rd, and we cut until 9 PM every day. Many bald fade clients take a Sunday evening slot so the fade is at its sharpest on Monday morning.
Same-day openings appear on Booksy often, so if you miss your usual slot, check the app or text us before you give up on the week.
If you travel for work, time a cut for the evening before you fly out of Pearson rather than the week before. A bald fade cut the night before looks fresh for the whole of a short trip, and you can book the next one for the evening you get back.
Bald fade in Mississauga: common questions
Can I get a bald fade and a beard trim together?
Yes. Book Haircut + Beard and we blend from bare skin straight into your beard line.
Does Markcutit shave the whole head?
No. We do not offer a straight-razor head shave; a bald fade takes only the lower sides and back to skin.
What if my scalp is sensitive to foil?
Tell us in the consultation. We can finish at a zero or a half guard instead, which is gentler; our shadow fade page explains that option.
