Which barber for which Caesar

Match the barber to the fade you want under the Caesar. The short, forward top is cut the same way by both of us, but the sides are where our leanings show.

Tell us where you are with your waves

If you are building waves, tell us how many weeks you have been brushing and whether you are wolfing or keeping it short. That decides how much we take off the top and in which direction the clipper runs.

The worst outcome for a waver is a barber who goes a guard shorter than you wanted and wipes out weeks of pattern. The front line is agreed before it is cut

On a Caesar, the front edge is the part people notice first, so we agree its shape with you in the mirror before the trimmer goes near it. Straight across, slightly rounded at the corners, or following your natural line exactly are all options.

We will not push your hairline back to make the edge look straighter. If your front has a dip or a widow's peak, we shape the line around it and show you the result before the razor cleans it up.

What a Caesar appointment covers

A Caesar visit at Markcutit covers the whole head plus the finish, not just a quick run over the top. In order, it goes like this:

1. Consultation: fade height, top guard or scissor length, the shape of the front line, and whether you are waving.
2. Sides first: the fade or taper, set to your head shape.
3. Top: taken to one even length with the clipper or scissors and brushed forward to check it lies flat.
4. Front edge and temples: trimmer line, then a razor clean-up unless your skin prefers the trimmer only.
5. Hot towel, hair wash and head massage, which come with every service.

Keeping a two-to-three-week rhythm

Because the whole cut is short, a Caesar shows growth everywhere at once, so most people who wear one come back every two to three weeks. If you have a skin fade under it, lean toward two; a taper stretches closer to three.

The studio is open until 9 PM every day, including Sunday, which makes a regular slot easy to hold. A Sunday evening Caesar means a clean front for Monday, and a Friday booking suits anyone heading into a weekend event. Around Eid, expected around March 10, 2027 for Eid al-Fitr and around May 17, 2027 for Eid al-Adha, book several days ahead.
