Barber near Rockwood Village: Up Dixie, Then Straight Along Matheson
Short answer: Markcutit is about 9 km from Rockwood Village, inside Heartland Town Centre at 650 Matheson Blvd W, roughly 12 minutes by car in light traffic. Drive north on Dixie Road, turn west onto Matheson Blvd E and stay on it: the name changes to Matheson Blvd W at Hurontario and brings you to us. We are open 9:30 AM to 9 PM daily, and every service ends with a free hot towel, wash and head massage.

A two-road trip from the Etobicoke Creek edge of the city
Rockwood Village is on Mississauga's eastern border, roughly from Eglinton Avenue down to Burnhamthorpe Road, with Dixie Road on the west and Etobicoke Creek, the city limit, on the east. Heartland is on the other side of Hurontario, so you cross a good slice of the city to reach us.
The good news is the directions fit on a sticky note: Dixie north, Matheson west. There is no highway on this route at all, which makes it predictable when the 401 and 403 are having a bad evening.
Where most Rockwood Village trips begin
The neighbourhood grew out of the old hamlet of Burnhamthorpe, first settled around 1820 as Sandy Hill, and was built out as Rockwood Village in the 1960s and 1970s. Most residents start from one of a few familiar spots.
- Rockwood Mall, on Dixie Road at Burnhamthorpe, is right on the route: you are already on Dixie heading north.
- Garnetwood Park, inside the neighbourhood, makes a Saturday outing that can end with a cut.
- The Burnhamthorpe branch library, at the south-west corner of the neighbourhood, is another easy launching point onto Dixie.
What you pass along Matheson
Once you turn west onto Matheson Blvd E, stay on it and the road carries you most of the way. At Hurontario Street it becomes Matheson Blvd W, and right at that corner you pass the headquarters of the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, next to the historic Britannia Farm.
Keep going west toward McLaughlin Rd and Heartland Town Centre opens up on your right, with its large surface parking lots. The studio is on the Matheson side of the centre, and the visit page has the exact pin so you pull into the right lot.
Making it a Heartland afternoon
People from Rockwood Village rarely drive 12 minutes for a haircut alone, and they do not have to. Heartland holds about 180 stores, including Costco, Walmart, Best Buy and Loblaws, so the cut becomes one stop in a longer errand run.
Book the chair first on Booksy, then plan the shopping around it. If you would rather book by message, our text to book a barber page explains how texting (647) 221-9795 works.
Picking the cut and the barber
A mid fade is a sensible middle ground for a lot of heads: sharp without being severe, and it grows out evenly between visits. Marcel leans toward mid tapers and texture on top; Mark leans toward skin fades and razor lineups if you want the sides taken closer.
Every appointment starts with a consultation about head shape and how your hair grows, so you do not need to arrive with the exact technical words. A photo on your phone is plenty.
