Short answer: Yes. You can book Markcutit by texting (647) 221-9795, calling the same number, or sending an Instagram DM to @markcutit. Put the service, the days and times you can make, and your preferred barber in the first message, and we can usually confirm in one reply. It works well if you are not a Booksy user or need something a menu cannot capture.
What to put in your text
Four details turn a booking text into a single reply. Without them, it becomes a back-and-forth that can cost you the time you wanted.
- Your name, so the booking is under the right person.
- The menu item you want, by its Booksy name, or a short description if you are not sure which one fits.
- Two or three days and time windows you can genuinely make.
- Mark, Marcel, or 'either is fine'.

Calling instead of texting
Call when the question is easier to talk through than to type, such as a big change of style, two people at the same time, or a booking you need today. The number is the same, (647) 221-9795.
If we are mid-cut and cannot answer, a text is the better follow-up than calling again, because it waits for us with all the details in it. Our hours run from 9:30 AM to 9 PM every day, so that is when you will reach someone by phone.
Booking through Instagram DM
Send a DM to @markcutit with the same details you would put in a text. Instagram also helps if you want to point at a photo: attach a picture of the cut or beard you want, from our feed or anywhere else.

After you send it: confirming, changing, cancelling
We reply with a time, and the booking is set once you confirm it. If you need to change it, reply to the same thread with the new days you can make; if you need to cancel, tell us as early as you can so the slot can go to someone else.
If you would rather see the whole calendar at once, book a barber online through Booksy instead; either route leads to the same chair and the same free hot towel, wash and head massage.
Why texting suits some bookings better
Texting is useful when your request does not fit neatly into a menu. Examples include working around a shift pattern, asking whether a style is realistic with your current length, or lining up a haircut the evening before a trip.
It is also simply easier for some people. If you do not want to download an app or make an account, a text to the studio works just as well. Anyone booking on behalf of a partner or family member often finds a text the most natural way to arrange it, because they can ask questions in the same thread.

Can I book for two people in one text?
Yes. Give both names and services, and say whether you want to be seen at the same time, one with each barber.
