Where the studio sits inside Heartland

The studio is on the southern edge of Heartland Town Centre, at 650 Matheson Blvd W, near the corner where Matheson meets McLaughlin Rd. Home Depot and Winners share that street address, so if you know where those two are, you are already in the right part of the centre.

Heartland is big. Roughly 180 stores are spread across separate buildings and surface parking lots between Boyer Blvd to the north, Matheson Blvd to the south, Terry Fox and Silken Laumann Ways to the west and McLaughlin Rd to the east. If you are parked elsewhere in the centre, moving the car can beat walking, so put 650 Matheson Blvd W in your map app rather than aiming for Heartland in general.

Book the cut first, then plan the errands around it

The easiest Heartland visit starts with a Booksy slot and fills the time on either side with shopping. A haircut is the one errand on your list that runs to a fixed time, so lock it in and let the Loblaws or Best Buy stop flex around it.

1. Pick a time on Booksy and choose Mark or Marcel. If nothing fits, call or text (647) 221-9795 and ask about same-day openings.
2. Do the heavy or cold shopping after the cut, not before. Nobody wants a trunk of Costco frozen food waiting through a fade and beard.
3. Arrive a few minutes early. Parking across Heartland's lots can take longer than you expect on a Saturday.
4. If the errands run long, reschedule in Booksy or by text as early as you can so the slot can go to someone else.

Driving in, and the MiWay routes that stop close by

Heartland sits just south of Hwy 401, which has interchanges at Hurontario St (Hwy 10) and at Mavis Rd, so both are natural exits. From Hurontario, head west along Matheson Blvd W toward McLaughlin. From Mavis, come east along Matheson.

The studio is inside the centre, so Heartland's surface parking lots are the parking. Transit riders have several options:

• 66 McLaughlin stops at McLaughlin Rd and Matheson Blvd, the closest all-day route to our side of Heartland.
• 61 Mavis stops at Mavis Rd and Matheson Blvd, at the far west end of Matheson, so expect a longer walk east.
• 43 Matheson runs along Matheson Blvd with a McLaughlin stop, but only in weekday rush hours.
• 39 Britannia serves Britannia Rd at Mavis, through the middle of the centre.

Why a 9 PM close matters for a shopping centre barber

Staying open until 9 PM seven nights a week is the practical difference for anyone shopping at Heartland after work. You can finish a shift, grab groceries and still sit down in the chair at 7:30 without racing a closing time.

Sundays are the other gap. Plenty of Mississauga shops close early on Sunday, which is when a lot of people do their weekly shop. We keep the same 9:30 AM to 9 PM hours on Sunday. More on evening slots is on our late-night barber page, and on our Sunday hours page.

Every appointment opens with a consultation about head shape, growth pattern and how you actually wear your hair day to day. Mark Yousif, our founder, leans toward skin fades, fade-into-beard blends, razor lineups and slick backs. Marcel Shabo leans toward low and mid tapers, drop fades, texture on top and detailing.
