Rathwood to Heartland is a west-bound highway trip
Rathwood sits between Eastgate Parkway to the north and Burnhamthorpe Road to the south, on the east side of the city. We are north-west of you, on the far side of Hurontario, so the quickest way across is the 403.
It is not a neighbourhood errand: it is an 11-minute drive when the highway is clear. That is short enough to make a cut and a Heartland shop a single outing, but long enough that you should book a set time rather than chance it.

Many Rathwood trips start around Burnhamthorpe Community Centre at 1500 Gulleden Drive, home to Chic Murray Arena and the pool. From there, Tomken Road takes you north to Eastgate Parkway, which feeds straight onto the 403 heading west.
Families at Rathwood District Park, with its ball diamond and soccer field, are only a few minutes further from the same on-ramp. A cut after a Saturday game or an evening skate at Chic Murray is an easy fit with our 9 PM close.

Rathwood's everyday shopping is Rockwood Mall at Dixie and Burnhamthorpe. Heartland is a different scale: about 180 stores, including Costco, Walmart, Best Buy and Loblaws, laid out as separate buildings with their own surface lots.

Who to book, and for what
