How a wedding party books with us, step by step

The simplest system is one organiser and individual bookings. One person gathers the details, and each groomsman holds his own appointment so he can move it himself if his plans change.

1. The organiser collects the wedding date, the number of people and who wants a beard done.
2. He picks one or two target days in the week before the wedding and texts them to (647) 221-9795 with the headcount.
3. We suggest how to split the group between the two chairs.
4. Each groomsman books his own slot on Booksy with the barber he was assigned, or the organiser books on his behalf by call or text.
5. Anyone who needs to move later reschedules in Booksy or by call or text straight away, so the rest of the plan holds.

Splitting the party between Mark and Marcel

With two senior barbers working side by side, two members of the party can be in chairs at once, which roughly halves the time the group spends at the studio. Both barbers do every service; the split is simply about matching each person to the barber whose leanings fit the cut he wants.

Spacing the appointments across one or two days

Spreading a large party over two evenings is usually easier than squeezing everyone into one. People arrive from different jobs and different parts of the GTA, and a relaxed schedule means nobody is rushed through the consultation.

Groomsmen flying in for the wedding can book online before they land and slot in on the day they arrive, since we are open until 9 PM. Matching the look without matching the haircuts

Photographers line a wedding party up shoulder to shoulder, so what reads as matching is the finish, not the style. Curly, straight, thinning and thick hair all need different cuts to look their best, and forcing one style on five heads usually flatters two of them.

Agree on a few shared details instead:

• The same neckline finish for everyone, either tapered or squared. See tapered vs blocked necklines if the group is unsure.
• Crisp lineups across the board, so no one looks a week behind in the group shot.
• Beards in a similar band of length, from stubble to short and neat, unless someone wears a full beard every day.
• A matte product on the day so nobody shines under the flash.

What the organiser should send before the booking day

A short text with the essentials saves a lot of back and forth. Include the names of everyone booking, who is having a beard done, anyone trying a fade for the first time, and a photo of the suits so we can see the collars.
