The 2027 Eid dates to plan around

Both Eids follow the lunar calendar, and the exact day depends on the moon sighting, so it can move by a day either way. These are the expected dates, with the booking window we suggest for each.

Booking when the date depends on the moon

Since the confirmed date can arrive late, the safest approach is to book two to three days before the expected date. If Eid lands a day earlier, your cut is still fresh; if it lands a day later, it has simply had more time to settle.

Avoid waiting until the moon sighting is announced to book. By then the final evening before Eid is usually full across Mississauga, and our last slots go quickly. If your plans change, cancel or move your appointment in Booksy as early as possible so another family can take it.

Shaping the beard the way you wear it

If you keep your beard at a set length, we treat shaping it, not shortening it, as the starting point unless you tell us otherwise. In the consultation, say how much length you want to keep, and whether the moustache should be trimmed above the lip or left fuller.

• Tidy the moustache over the lip but leave the beard full: say so at the start.

Evening appointments in the last days of Ramadan

If you are fasting during Ramadan, you may prefer to come in after breaking the fast rather than during the day. Our hours run until 9 PM every day, including Sunday, so the later slots can suit that routine. Those evening times are also the first to fill in the final week, which is another reason to book early.

Families often want everyone done before Eid. Each person books his own slot on Booksy, and you can place them back to back with one barber or side by side with Mark and Marcel.
