Markcutit · 650 Matheson Blvd W, Mississauga, ON L5R 3T2
Barber near south Brampton: Just Over the Border, Down McLaughlin Road
Short answer: Markcutit is in Mississauga, not Brampton: our studio is inside Heartland Town Centre at 650 Matheson Blvd W, about 8.6 km from the Steeles Avenue area and roughly 12 minutes by car without traffic. McLaughlin Road runs straight south from Brampton to our edge of Heartland, and MiWay routes 66 and 61 come down from Sheridan College's Davis campus. We are open until 9 PM every day.

How close is Heartland to the Brampton border?
Close enough that three of south Brampton's main north-south roads lead to it. McLaughlin Road carries straight on into Mississauga, Main Street becomes Hurontario Street, and Chinguacousy Road becomes Mavis Road south of Steeles.
We are still a drive, not a neighbourhood shop: about 12 minutes from the Steeles area when traffic is light. For people living around Steeles, though, heading south can be as quick as heading into downtown Brampton.
McLaughlin Road: the straight line
From Steeles Avenue, turn south onto McLaughlin Road and simply stay on it. You pass over both the 407 and the 401 without touching either highway, and McLaughlin delivers you to Matheson Blvd W on the east edge of Heartland Town Centre.
Our studio is on the Matheson side of the centre toward McLaughlin, so this is about as direct as a trip gets. The visit page shows the exact pin and where to turn in.
By bus from Brampton on MiWay
Two MiWay routes link Brampton with our corner of Heartland. Route 66 McLaughlin runs between Sheridan College's Davis campus in Brampton and City Centre Terminal, stopping at McLaughlin Rd and Matheson Blvd in both directions. Route 61 Mavis runs the same two ends via Mavis Road and stops at Mavis and Matheson.
For Sheridan Davis students, the 66 is the obvious choice. The Hazel McCallion LRT, which will end at Brampton Gateway Terminal, is still under construction, so do not plan around it yet.
Check MiWay's schedule for your return trip before you book a late slot, especially on weekends.
From Shoppers World and the Main Street side
If you start near Shoppers World Brampton at 499 Main Street South, beside Brampton Gateway Terminal, the natural road is Main Street itself. Head south and it becomes Hurontario Street once you cross into Mississauga.
Stay on Hurontario past the 401 interchange, turn right at Matheson Blvd W by the school board headquarters, and continue west toward McLaughlin Rd. It is a slightly different approach to the same corner of Heartland.
Timing a cut around Diwali and late evenings
Diwali falls on November 8, 2026, and cuts for the week before it are worth booking early; our Diwali haircut page covers timing and style choices for the festival.
The rest of the year, our 9 PM close is the practical draw from Brampton. A weeknight or Sunday-evening slot after the commute is ordinary here, and our barber open late page explains how to find the latest opening on Booksy.
Barber near south Brampton: common questions
Is Markcutit a Brampton barbershop?
No. We are in Mississauga, inside Heartland Town Centre, a short drive south of the Brampton border via McLaughlin Road, Hurontario Street or Mavis Road.
Which is quicker from Steeles: McLaughlin or Hurontario?
McLaughlin usually makes more sense because it ends right at our side of Heartland. Hurontario works too but means a turn onto Matheson Blvd W and a short drive west.
Should I wait for the LRT to open before trying the bus?
No need. The Hazel McCallion Line is still being built and has no firm opening date, while the 66 McLaughlin already stops at McLaughlin and Matheson, right beside our side of Heartland.
Which barber should I pick for a skin fade and beard blend?
Mark leans toward skin fades and fade-into-beard blends, though both barbers do every service. Our Heartland page has the details on finding the studio once you arrive.
