Markcutit · 650 Matheson Blvd W, Mississauga, ON L5R 3T2
Barber near Fairview: Confederation, Burnhamthorpe, Then Mavis
Short answer: From Fairview, Markcutit is about 7 km north, roughly ten minutes by car: up Confederation Pkwy, west on Burnhamthorpe Rd W, then north on Mavis Rd to Matheson Blvd W in Heartland Town Centre. By transit, walk or ride to City Centre Transit Terminal and take the 61 or 66. We are open until 9 PM every day; book on Booksy.

Is a ten-minute drive worth it from Fairview?
It is if you want an evening or Sunday cut, or a finish that goes beyond the clippers. Fairview sits south of Hwy 403 and west of Hurontario St, reaching down toward Dundas St, with Square One on its edge. Our studio is well north of all that, inside Heartland Town Centre at 650 Matheson Blvd W.
So this is not a neighbourhood barber for you. It is a studio ten minutes away that is open until 9 PM daily and includes a hot towel treatment, hair wash and head massage with every service.
The drive in three roads
Head up Confederation Pkwy toward the City Centre, then turn west on Burnhamthorpe Rd W. At Mavis Rd, turn north and stay on Mavis all the way up past Eglinton and Bristol to Matheson Blvd.
Turn east on Matheson Blvd W and drive toward McLaughlin Rd. The studio shares 650 Matheson Blvd W with Home Depot and Winners, and parking is in Heartland's surface lots. At rush hour, Burnhamthorpe and Mavis both slow down, so pad the trip.
Using City Centre Transit Terminal as your hop-off point
Fairview's northern edge touches Square One, and City Centre Transit Terminal is right beside the mall. Two MiWay routes leave from there and stop at Matheson Blvd:
- 66 McLaughlin, up McLaughlin Rd to the Matheson Blvd stop, the closer one to our door.
- 61 Mavis, up Mavis Rd to the Matheson Blvd stop, followed by a walk east along Matheson.
The future Fairview LRT stop is not a shortcut yet
The Hazel McCallion Line plans a stop called Fairview at Hurontario and Central Pkwy, and a Matheson stop farther north. Construction is still under way, with opening expected in 2028 or later, so do not plan around it.
Even when it opens, the Matheson stop is at Hurontario, and the studio is a walk west along Matheson toward McLaughlin. That means the LRT would still involve a transfer or a walk from Fairview. For now, the two buses from the terminal are the simpler choice today.
Landmarks locals use to judge the trip
If you live near Dr. Martin L. Dobkin Community Park or the Huron Park Recreation Centre, the ten-minute estimate is about right for your side of the neighbourhood. Streets closer to Square One shave a little off, especially if you take the bus from the terminal.
Book Mark Yousif if you are after a skin fade, a slick back or a fade that runs into the beard; book Marcel Shabo for low and mid tapers, a drop fade or a textured top. If you are torn between two fades, our drop fade booking page and the Sunday barber page are quick reads before you pick a slot.
