Christmas haircut in Mississauga: beat the December rush
Short answer: Yes, we cut hair through December at our studio inside Heartland Town Centre, but the weeks before Christmas are among the busiest of the year for any barber, so book in November. If you have an office party early in the month and family photos around December 25, plan two cuts about two weeks apart. Booksy shows live availability for both barbers, and you can also call or text (647) 221-9795.

Book your December cuts in November
The best time to book a Christmas haircut is the middle of November. December weekends go first, followed by the weeknight evenings in the week before Christmas, and by then people are competing for whatever cancellations appear.
Christmas Day falls on a Friday in 2026, so the Monday to Wednesday before it are the natural target. Booking early also gives you a choice of barber rather than taking whoever is free.
One cut or two? Match it to your December calendar
One cut rarely covers a whole December, because a fade that looks perfect at a party on the 5th has visibly grown by the 25th. Map out your events first, then decide how many visits you need.
| Your December | What to book |
|---|---|
| Only Christmas with family | One cut, Monday Dec 21 to Wednesday Dec 23 |
| Office party early in the month, then Christmas | Two cuts, about two weeks apart |
| Office party in the week of Christmas | One cut a few days before the party |
| Christmas plus New Year's Eve | One cut before Christmas, a beard lineup before the 31st |
What shows up in family photos
Christmas family photos are usually group shots, taken at the table or in front of the tree, often by a relative with a phone. At that distance nobody notices the exact fade height; what they see is the outline, whether the edges look fresh and whether the beard has kept its shape.
That makes the lineup and beard edges the priority. A Haircut + Beard handles both in one sitting. If your cut is more than a week before the day, a quick Beard Only + Lineup closer to it keeps the edges crisp for the photos.
Winter hair: toques, static and dry skin
Ontario winter is hard on a fresh cut. A toque flattens the top, dry indoor heat makes hair static and flyaway, and cold wind leaves the skin under a close fade dry and tight.
A few small choices help your Christmas cut survive the season:
- Leave slightly more length on top so a toque does not press it completely flat.
- Use a cream or light clay rather than a strong gel, which dries out further in the cold.
- Moisturise the back of the neck after a skin fade, since it is newly exposed.
- See our winter haircuts guide for styles that suit hats and scarves.
Heartland in December: allow extra time
Heartland Town Centre is a large power centre with around 180 stores, and its surface lots fill with holiday shoppers on December weekends. Give yourself a few extra minutes to park and walk over so you arrive a few minutes early, as we ask of every client.
The upside is that you can fold the haircut into your gift shopping. Many people book a weeknight evening, since we are normally open until 9 PM, and do their errands at the stores around us before or after.
Christmas haircut in Mississauga: common questions
Are you open on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day?
We do not publish holiday hours on this page. Booksy shows the live calendar for each date, or you can call or text us to check.
I am flying home for the holidays. When should I get cut?
Two to five days before your flight works for most cuts. Our page on a haircut before a trip from Pearson covers travel timing.
Can my son and I book together before Christmas?
Yes. Book two slots in a row with one barber, or at the same time with Mark and Marcel, on Booksy or by text.
What if every December slot is taken?
Check Booksy daily for cancellations, especially the day before you want to come in, and text us to ask about openings.
