Lunch Break Haircut in Mississauga: Near Hurontario and Heartland

How far the studio is from nearby offices

From the Hurontario neighbourhood just south of Heartland, the drive is short: about 2.6 km and roughly four minutes in free-flowing traffic. From the Uptown area around Hurontario and Eglinton it is about 4.2 km, around six minutes, and from the Meadowvale Business Park offices along the 401 it is about 7.5 km, around nine minutes.

Those are free-flow times; midday traffic on Hurontario, Mavis and Britannia can add a few minutes, especially near the 401 ramps. If you work inside Heartland itself, you can walk across the centre. For turn-by-turn directions, use our visit page.

Which services fit inside a lunch hour

Pick the service by the time you have left once travel is taken out. Booksy shows the appointment length for each service before you confirm, so check it against your break rather than guessing.

A Beard Only + Lineup is usually the easiest fit for a lunch hour, and a Nose Wax is a small add-on. A full Haircut + Beard with the hot towel, wash and head massage is better kept for an evening or a weekend, when you are not watching the clock.

• Tight break: Beard Only + Lineup, or a Nose Wax.
• Longer lunch: Haircut Only for a clean-up of your usual fade or taper.
• Save for after work: Haircut + Beard or a new style you have not worn before.

Book a fixed time so lunch runs on schedule

On a lunch break you cannot afford to wait, so book a fixed time the day before instead of hoping for a same-day gap. Choose the earliest start that your travel allows, and put a reminder in your work calendar fifteen minutes before you need to leave.

Tell your barber at the start that you are on your lunch hour. We will keep the consultation short if it is your usual cut. Arriving a few minutes early, as our answer on how early to arrive for a barber appointment explains, is what keeps a lunch booking on schedule.

Getting there on transit at midday

If you work along Hurontario, the 17 Hurontario and 103 Hurontario Express stop at Hurontario and Matheson, and the 66 McLaughlin and 61 Mavis stop on Matheson Blvd closer to Heartland. The 43 Matheson runs only in weekday rush hours, so do not plan a midday trip around it.

The Hazel McCallion LRT is still under construction, so it is not an option yet. For most people on a lunch break, a short drive is the realistic way to make the trip there and back.

When lunch is too short, use the evening

If your break is thirty minutes, a lunch haircut is not realistic, and there is no need to force it. We are open until 9 PM every day, so you can come straight after work instead and get the full appointment without rushing back to your desk.

Many office workers split it: a quick beard lineup at lunch midweek, then the full haircut on the weekend. Our open late page covers booking evening times.
