Short answer: Yes. Every service at Markcutit, inside Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga, includes a free hot towel treatment, along with a hair wash and head massage. It is a warm towel for softening, comfort and cleanup, not a hot towel shave, which is not on our menu. Book any service on Booksy, Haircut Only, Haircut + Beard or Beard Only + Lineup, and the towel comes with it.
Every Markcutit appointment includes a hot towel
There is no add-on to tick and nothing extra to pay for the towel. Whether you book Haircut Only, Haircut + Beard, Beard Only + Lineup, Full Face Wax or Nose Wax, it is part of the appointment, alongside the hair wash and head massage.

Hot towel treatment or hot towel shave: which one we offer
The two names sound alike but describe very different services, and it is worth being clear before you book. We offer the treatment only.

Where the towel lands in each service
The towel does a slightly different job depending on what you booked. On Haircut + Beard and Beard Only + Lineup it comes before the razor edges on your cheeks and neck, so the hair is soft when the lines are set. On a Haircut Only visit it is part of the finish, a warm reset after the clippers and the wash.

Picking a service if the finish is what you are after
People who search for a barber with a hot towel usually want a visit that feels like more than a quick buzz. A few pointers help you choose.
- Want the full treatment on your face: book Beard Only + Lineup or Haircut + Beard.
- Clean-shaven and only need a cut: Haircut Only still includes the towel, wash and massage.
- Tidying stray hair on the cheeks or ears: Full Face Wax covers face, nose and ears, and the towel comes with it.
- Short on time: tell us at the start and we will keep the finish brief, or skip the parts you do not need.
Why it feels best on a cold Mississauga day
From December to March, walking across Heartland's surface parking lots in a January wind leaves your face cold and your skin tight. A warm towel after the cut is the moment most people notice on a winter visit.
In summer it feels different but still useful, clearing sweat and clippings from the neck after a close fade. We are open 9:30 AM to 9 PM every day, so an evening slot after a long shift often turns the towel into the best part of the day.
Asking for it cooler, or skipping it
The towel should feel warm and comfortable, never hot enough to make you flinch. If it is too warm, say so straight away and we will lift it and let it cool.
If you have rosacea, a sunburn, or a skin condition that dislikes heat, ask for it barely warm or leave it out. Both barbers, Mark Yousif and Marcel Shabo, are used to adjusting it.

Does the hot towel cost extra?
No. It is included free with every service, along with the hair wash and head massage.
Can I book just a hot towel?
No. It comes as part of a service rather than on its own. Pick whichever service you need on Booksy, even Nose Wax, and the towel is part of it.
Do you shave heads or beards with a straight razor?
Not as a service. We use a razor for crisp lineup edges on the hairline, cheeks and neck, but full straight-razor shaves are not offered.
Will the hot towel undo my styling?
